Day 1: Maumere → Moni
Your journey begins in Maumere, with visits to Wuring Fishing Village and the Ledalero Museum. Continue to Paga Beach for a chance to relax or swim, before heading to Jopu Traditional Village. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Moni, a charming village nestled at the foot of Mount Kelimutu and surrounded by rice paddies. Take a leisurely walk through the village and enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals. Overnight in Moni.
Day 2: Moni → Ende
Rise early for a drive up to Mount Kelimutu. A short 30-minute walk brings you to the lookout point, where you’ll witness the magical sunrise over the tri-colored crater lakes. After breakfast in Moni, continue to Ende, passing through stunning landscapes with stops at Saga Village and Wolotopo Village. In Ende, visit the Bung Karno Museum, explore the lively waterfront market, or simply enjoy the scenery. Overnight in Ende.
Day 3: Ende → Riung
Travel along a scenic 4-hour route to the fishing town of Riung. En route, stop at Penggajawa Beach, famous for its stretch of blue and green stones. The journey continues along winding mountain roads with breathtaking views, including the rolling hills dotted with palm trees near Bajawa. By evening, arrive in Riung and check in to your guesthouse or cottage.
Day 4: Riung – 17 Islands Marine Park
Set out on a full-day adventure to the 17 Islands Marine Park. Swim, snorkel among vibrant coral reefs, and relax on white sandy beaches. A barbecue lunch will be served on one of the islands. At dusk, witness the awe-inspiring sight of thousands of flying foxes taking to the sky at Ontoloe Island. Dinner and overnight in Riung.
Day 5: Riung → Bajawa
After breakfast, travel to Bajawa (approx. 3 hours). En route, stop at Mengeruda Hot Springs in Soa, where you can soak in the warm pool and waterfall. After lunch, visit the traditional villages of Bena and Luba, before ending the day with sunset views from Wolo Bobo Mountain. Overnight in Bajawa.
Day 6: Bajawa → Ruteng
Drive about 5 hours to Ruteng, with scenic stops along the way. Pause at Aimere Village to see the traditional distillation of palm liquor known as sopi. If time allows, stop at Mbolata Beach for a swim or stroll by the sea. Before reaching Ruteng, visit Rana Mese Lake, surrounded by lush rainforest. Overnight in Ruteng.
Day 7: Ruteng Discovery → Labuan Bajo
Start the day with a visit to Golo Curu Hill for sweeping views of Ruteng and its terraced rice fields. Continue to Liang Bua Cave, the archaeological site of the famous “Flores Man.” Alternatively, visit Ruteng Pu’u Traditional Village. After lunch, stop at Cancar to marvel at the spectacular spiderweb rice fields of Sawah Lodok. Arrive in Labuan Bajo in the evening. Overnight in Labuan Bajo or continue to your next adventure.
